Prince Edward Island immigration has encouraged candidates to continue to submit Expressions of Interest despite the coronavirus crisis.
In an email, the PEI Office of Immigration said: “We encourage all potential applicants to create an expression of interest when they meet program criteria as we may perform unscheduled draws in this period of uncertainty.”
The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) already indefinitely postponed its March 19 draw due to COVID-19 restrictions.
A further draw was planned for April 16, according to the schedule released at the start of 2020.
However, with the immigration office closed and staff working remotely, PEI says it is not sure when the next EOI draw will take place.
