Unlike some of the other provinces, the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) does not reward candidates whose occupations appear on a certain list.
Rather, the province publishes a list of ineligible occupations.
Ineligible occupations
Candidates with work experience in the following occupations are not eligible to apply for the Alberta Opportunity Stream:

Post-Graduation Work Permit holders
Post-Graduation Work Permit holders are not eligible to apply to the Alberta Opportunity Stream if submitted an application before November 2020 and they were working in an occupation that was on the list of occupations for which the Government of Canada refused to process an LMIA.
After November 2020, PGWP holders may apply for AOS even if their occupation is on the list of ineligible LMIA.
Post-Graduation Work Permit Holders must review both ineligible occupation lists to determine occupation eligibility.
