Express Entry Immigration is a point-based system used by the Canadian government to assess and rank candidates in the Express Entry pool who apply for permanent residency.

A CRS score (Comprehensive Ranking System score) determines how competitive an individual’s profile is compared to other applicants and is a key factor in receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency to Canada.

The Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) are three immigration programs under Canada’s Express Entry system. Each program targets different types of skilled workers who are looking to immigrate to Canada as permanent residents.

The National Occupational Classification (NOC) is the national reference for occupations in Canada. If you don't already know it, you can use this tool to determine the NOC code for your occupation.

Personal Net Worth

Personal net worth is the total value of what you own (assets) minus what you owe (liabilities). To calculate it, add up the value of all your assets, such as cash, investments, real estate or property, and other valuable possessions. Then subtract all your liabilities, like loans, mortgages, credit card debt, and other financial obligations. The result is your net worth, which reflects your overall financial health. If you are married or have a common-law partner, add their personal net worth to your own. Use this tool to convert your local currency to Canadian Dollars (CAD).
