Prince Edward Island has invited 132 candidates to apply for permanent residence through its Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) draw held on August 21, 2025.
All invitations were issued under the Labour and Express Entry categories, with no invitations going to entrepreneurs in the Business Work Permit stream.
The province confirmed that invitations targeted individuals working in occupations and priority sectors with the greatest economic impact in Prince Edward Island. Priority was also given to candidates already working with a PEI employer and to international graduates from the University of Prince Edward Island, Holland College, and Collège de l’Île.
This latest draw highlights PEI’s ongoing focus on addressing labour market needs and supporting international graduates who can contribute to the province’s economic growth.
