Here is a breakdown of the draw results.
New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream – Experience Pathway
Under the New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream – Experience Pathway, the province issued 481 invitations. The draw accepted applications from candidates with work experience in the health care sector, as well as in the education, social and community services, and construction trades categories. However, certain occupations were excluded from consideration during this draw period, including NOC 42201 (social and community service workers) and NOC 75101 (material handlers). Candidates eligible under this pathway had to submit their profiles before the cut-off date and time of August 10, 2025, at 11:59 pm Atlantic Standard Time (AST).
New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream – Graduates Pathway
The New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream – Graduates Pathway issued 389 invitations to recent graduates of eligible New Brunswick post-secondary institutions. This draw was open to candidates from all sectors, but it specifically excluded three National Occupation Classification (NOC) codes: NOC 42201 (social and community service workers), NOC 62200 (chefs), and NOC 75101 (material handlers). This pathway is designed to support the retention of skilled graduates in New Brunswick’s workforce by offering them a pathway to permanent residence after completing their studies in the province.
New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream – Francophone Candidates
A third draw under the Skilled Worker Stream – Francophone Candidates Pathway resulted in 132 invitations being issued to French-speaking candidates across all sectors. As with the Graduates Pathway, the August 11–19 draw excluded candidates with work experience in NOC 42201, NOC 62200, and NOC 75101. This stream is part of New Brunswick’s broader goal to attract and retain Francophone newcomers to help maintain the province’s bilingual character, especially outside major urban centres.
New Brunswick Express Entry Stream – Employment in New Brunswick
Finally, the New Brunswick Express Entry Stream – Employment in New Brunswick Pathway issued 50 invitations to candidates who had secured valid job offers from New Brunswick employers. This draw accepted applications from candidates across all sectors except those with work experience under NOC 42201 and NOC 62200. The Express Entry stream aligns with the federal immigration system and allows New Brunswick to nominate candidates with the skills, education, and work experience needed to contribute to the provincial economy.
These draws reflect New Brunswick’s continued effort to manage immigration strategically based on real-time labour market demands. By targeting specific occupations and candidate profiles, the province aims to ensure newcomers are well-positioned to succeed while supporting local economic growth and community development.
