Breakdown of Invitations
International Education Stream
A total of 1,866 LAAs were issued to candidates who met the eligibility requirements under the International Education Stream. This stream targets international graduates from Manitoba institutions who have in-demand skills and are ready to join the local workforce.
Skilled Worker in Manitoba – Citizens of Ukraine Selection
A special allocation of 1,466 LAAs was made to candidates under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream with a principal applicant who is a citizen of Ukraine. This targeted draw continues Manitoba’s humanitarian response to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
Skilled Worker Stream – Strategic Recruitment Initiatives
An additional 15 LAAs were issued under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas pathways to candidates directly invited through strategic recruitment initiatives. These include:
- Employer Services – 4 LAAs
- Francophone Community – 7 LAAs
- Regional Communities – 3 LAAs
- Ethnocultural Communities – 1 LAA
The lowest ranking score for these candidates was 844.
Express Entry Profile Connections
Of all the invitations issued, 415 LAAs went to candidates who had a valid Express Entry profile number and a job seeker validation code, making them eligible for faster federal immigration processing.
