“You don’t have to exactly replicate your immigration application,” Singer says.
The NOC covers 347 occupations, but also many sub-occupations, making it important to keep all your options open when looking for work.
Singer goes on to discuss key elements of the application process, including how to structure your CV or resume, right down to creating the right impression with your email address.

“It’s easy to get discouraged. You may not find a job on the very first go,” he says.
