Canada has announced changes to the Canadian Passport Order and introduced the Prevention of Terrorist Travel Act that will allow the Canadian government to cancel, refuse or revoke passports as a preventative measure against high-risk travelers and transnational child sex offenders. The maximum period for refusal of passport services has been set at 10 years.
