The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) conducted a new immigration draw on July 30, issuing at least 147 invtations.
It focused on key sectors including technology, childcare, construction, healthcare, and veterinary care, within the Skilled Worker and International Graduate streams.
In the technology sector, 64 invitations were extended to candidates with a minimum score of 120, highlighting the high demand for top-level professionals. The childcare sector issued 33 invitations with a minimum score of 89, stressing the urgent need for qualified workers in this vital field. In the construction sector, 27 invitations were sent out with a minimum score of 90, pointing to the necessity for skilled labour in infrastructure projects.
The healthcare sector received 22 invitations with a minimum score of 101, emphasizing the crucial need to strengthen the workforce in this essential industry. The veterinary care sector issued fewer than five invitations, with a minimum score of 80, indicating a more niche demand.
