Candidates required 106 points to qualify in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program draw, down from the previous record of 108 points.
The draw saw 23 invites issued for British Columbia immigration.

What Are The Requirements For The B.C. Entrepreneur Category?
Business candidates in this British Columbia immigration category must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Demonstrate a personal net worth of at least $800,000;
- Make a personal investment of at least $400 000 to establish or purchase and expand an eligible business in B.C.;
- Create at least three jobs for Canadian citizens or permanent residents;
- Participate in the day-to-day management and direction or the business;
- Sign a performance agreement with B.C. prior to nomination;
- Candidates in the Entrepreneur category can sponsor a key staff member for Canadian permanent residence.
How Do I Qualify For The Regional Entrepreneur Category?
Business candidates in this category must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Demonstrate a personal net worth of at least $400,000;
- Make a personal investment of at least $200,000 to establish or purchase and expand an eligible business in B.C. outside the Vancouver metropolitan area and the Abbotsford metropolitan area;
- Create at least one new job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
- Participate in the day-to-day management and direction or the business;
- Sign a performance agreement with B.C. prior to nomination.
Meanwhile, British Columbia immigration conducted its first general draw in three weeks on March 26, issuing 242 Invitations to Apply across five BC PNP streams.
The draw saw minimum scores edge up from the previous general British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program draw on March 5.
Both the Express Entry and direct provincial streams for skilled workers saw a minimum score of 94 points.
International graduates through both categories required 100 points.
Lastly, entry level and semi-skilled workers needed 73 points to qualify.
