November 30, 2017 – British Columbia immigration officials have advised that the final 2017 round of invitations under the B.C. PNP Tech Pilot will take place on December 18.
Draws are made weekly under the immigration stream that prioritizes processing for 32 specialist technology occupations that are in demand by employers in the province. It was launched earlier in 2017, with the first tech-only draw made on June 14.
The weekly draws will resume in the first week of January 2018, a statement from the province said.
