October 7, 2025 – Construction Sector Draw
Under the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors (Construction), the province issued 91 invitations to candidates with a minimum score of 60. This draw highlights Alberta’s continued demand for skilled construction workers to support infrastructure and housing projects across the province.
October 3, 2025 – Accelerated Tech Pathway
In a draw under the Accelerated Tech Pathway, 230 invitations were issued to Express Entry candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 52. The pathway remains one of Alberta’s most popular, designed to attract technology professionals to fill gaps in the province’s expanding tech sector.
October 1, 2025 – Alberta Opportunity Stream
The largest draw of the week took place on October 1, when 1,003 invitations were issued under the Alberta Opportunity Stream to candidates with a minimum score of 61. This stream supports foreign workers already employed in Alberta who meet program requirements and intend to settle permanently in the province.
