Quebec’s immigration ministry (MIFI) issues periodic invitations to apply to the Quebec Skilled Worker Program through the Quebec Expression of Interest system, known as Arrima.
MIFI publishes specific requirements for each Expression of Interest draw.
Candidates receiving an invitation have 60 days to submit a complete application.
Selected candidates are invited to apply for the Quebec Skilled Worker Program. Approved candidates receive a Quebec Selection Certificate, allowing them to apply for the federal government for permanent residence.
Eight regular PSTQ (Programme de sélection des travailleurs qualifiés / Skilled Worker Selection Program) rounds have been held so far in 2026, each issuing invitations across all four streams on a single extraction date. Quebec also issued 13 supplementary invitations from January 1, 2026 under sections 26 and 47 of the Quebec Immigration Regulation.
Cut-off scores vary within each stream by exercise (location of residence, in-demand occupation, language and other factors). For exact score thresholds per exercise, see the official Gouvernement du Québec invitations page. Extraction dates and times are reproduced as published by Quebec.
