Ontario issued 782 Invitations to Apply (ITA), most of them under the Masters Graduate and PhD Graduate streams, in three draws on the second-last day of August.
Among those ITAs was one under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream, a targeted draw for Economic Mobility Pathways Project (EMPP) candidates.
That pathway is for refugee resettlement and economic immigration that helps skilled refugees immigrate to Canada through existing financial programs and gives employers access to a new pool of qualified candidates to fill job openings.

The vast majority of those issued ITAs under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) on Aug. 30 were sent through the Masters Graduate stream.
Provincial immigration officials sent out 680 ITAs to applicants with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 37 and above in a general draw.
680 ITAs Sent Under Masters Graduate, 101 Under PhD Graduate
Ontario immigration also sent out 101 ITAs under the PhD Graduate stream to applicants with a CRS score of 26 and above in another general draw.
Both the Masters and PhD Graduate international student streams of the OINP are part of the Human Capital category which targets foreign workers and international students with the education, work experience and skills required to successfully establish themselves in the province of Ontario.
In order to be considered under one of these streams, interested candidates must have studied in Ontario, under eligible programs.
