The authorities would need to use the Express Entry System for notifying the foreign national included in the express entry pool of candidates electronically on all matters concerning their expression of interest. These matters could include:

Checking whether the foreign national:

Meets the requirements of being a member of at least one of the following classes:

The federal skilled worker class referred to in subsection 75 (1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR)
The Canadian experience class referred to in subsection 87.1 (1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR) and,
The federal skilled trades class referred to in subsection 87.2 (1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR)

Meets the requirements specified in:

Subparagraph 82 (2) (c) (ii) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR) if they are foreign nationals referred to in paragraph 82 (2) (b) or,
Clause 87.2 (3) (d) (iv) (B) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR) if they are the foreign nationals referred to in subparagraph 87.2 (3) (d) (iii) AND,

Registers with the Job Bank of the Department of Employment and Social Development not later than 30 days after the day on which they submit their expression of interest if:

They do not have a qualifying offer of arranged employment or,
Their name does not appear in a nomination certificate issued by the government of a province referred to in paragraph 2 (d) under its provincial nominee program express entry stream at the conclusion of that period

Ascertaining whether the foreign nationals are eligible for receiving an invitation and,
Their rank under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) relative to other eligible foreign nationals requires inclusion in the express entry pool of candidates
