Canada has conducted a new Express Entry draw aimed at Canadian Experience Class candidates, issuing 1,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) on November 26. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required was 531 points, two fewer than the previous CEC draw on November 12, which also issued 1,000 ITAs.
It means the last six CEC Express Entry draws have had a minimum CRS score of between 531 and 534.

Frequently Asked Questions
What was the CRS score for the latest Canadian Experience Class draw?
The November 26 CEC draw required a minimum CRS score of 531. This continues the recent trend of CEC cut-offs staying between 531 and 534 for the last six rounds, giving candidates a clear idea of what they need to remain competitive.
How many ITAs has Canada issued through Express Entry in 2025?
Canada has issued 88,476 ITAs so far in 2025. This follows 98,903 ITAs issued in 2024 and 110,266 issued in 2023. ITA volumes show that 2025 remains a high-activity year across category-based, CEC, and PNP draws.
Why are CEC CRS scores staying in a narrow range?
Scores remain steady because Canada continues to prioritise candidates with Canadian work experience and strong language skills. Demand within the CEC pool is relatively stable, and IRCC is using predictable draw sizes. This creates a consistent CRS band rather than large fluctuations.
What should Express Entry candidates do to improve their chances of getting an ITA?
The most effective step is securing a valid job offer supported by an LMIA or provincial nomination. Either can significantly boost CRS scores or guarantee an invitation. Candidates should also keep language test results updated, complete an ECA if needed, and ensure their profiles remain accurate.
How can employers bring skilled workers to Canada more easily?
Employers can pursue an LMIA for faster recruitment or nominate candidates through a Provincial Nominee Program to support long-term retention. At immigration.ca, we assist employers with both hiring and immigration strategies to bring qualified foreign workers to Canada as efficiently as possible.
