- Employer Direct Recruitment Pathway: This pathway is for individuals with job offers from approved Manitoba employers while residing overseas.
Skilled Worker Overseas Stream (SWO)
Designed for skilled workers abroad, the SWO offers two routes:
- Manitoba Express Entry Pathway: This route is for those who are eligible under another MPNP stream and meet Express Entry criteria, with skills in Manitoba’s In-Demand Occupations and close family ties to the province.
- Human Capital Pathway: This pathway targets skilled workers abroad with experience in In-Demand Occupations, emphasizing their potential to secure employment in Manitoba upon arrival.
International Education Stream (IES)
Dedicated to graduates from Manitoba’s educational institutions, the IES offers three pathways:
- Career Employment Pathway: This pathway requires completion of a qualifying program from a Manitoba institution and a job offer in an In-Demand Occupation, with residency in Manitoba.
- Graduate Internship Pathway: Available to Masters and Doctoral graduates who have completed internships through Mitacs Accelerate or Elevate, even without a job offer.
- Student Entrepreneur Pathway: For graduates who have completed a program in Manitoba, operated a business in the province for six months post-graduation, and reside in Manitoba, with no specific net worth requirement.
