Requirements for SUV Canada Immigration

Thinking of applying for the Start-Up Visa Program?  You must:

  • Be able to prove that you are an innovative entrepreneur who can spur economic growth in Canada.
  • Be able to obtain a Letter of Support from one of Canada’s authorized Designated Organizations.
  • Hold at least 10 per cent of the voting shares in the business, and hold at least 50 per cent of the voting shares together with the designated organization.
  • Operate and manage the business venture from within Canada once set up.
  • Meet a CLB 5 requirement for English or French in speaking, reading, listening, and writing.
  • Show that you have enough funds to support yourself and any dependents after they arrive in Canada.
  • Demonstrate sufficient funds to support yourself and any dependents after they arrive in Canada.
