Canada Immigration Fees for Spouse or Common-Law Partners in Canada Class

The Fees for Humanitarian and Compassionate Requests
Situations could arise where foreign nationals are inadmissible or do not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR) and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA). These individuals have the ability to submit written requests for consideration on:
- Humanitarian and compassionate grounds or,
- Public policy considerations
It is worth mentioning that these requests must accompany applications for permanent residence.

Canada Immigration Fees for the Permit Holders Class
The Minister of Citizenship and Immigration has the authority to grant permanent resident status to an inadmissible foreign national. The Minister would typically do this on:
- Humanitarian and compassionate grounds or,
- Public policy considerations
