Alberta has conducted three new draws through the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), issuing 170 invitations to apply.
On February 6, the AAIP focused on the Dedicated Health Care Pathway for non-Express Entry candidates, inviting 48 individuals with a minimum score of 50.
This initiative underscores Alberta’s commitment to strengthening its healthcare system by attracting qualified professionals.
The previous day, February 5, the AAIP targeted the Dedicated Health Care Pathway for Express Entry candidates, extending invitations to 70 individuals who achieved a minimum score of 52. This draw highlights the province’s strategy to expedite the integration of skilled healthcare workers into Alberta’s labor market through the federal Express Entry system.

Earlier, on February 3, the AAIP conducted a draw under the Rural Renewal Stream, issuing 190 invitations to candidates with a minimum score of 68. This initiative aims to revitalize rural communities by attracting skilled workers to areas experiencing labor shortages, thereby promoting balanced regional development within the province.
These draws reflect Alberta’s proactive approach to addressing labor market needs and supporting economic growth by attracting skilled professionals across various sectors.
