Employment in New Brunswick
New Brunswick has invited 221 candidates through its Express Entry Stream under the Employment in New Brunswick pathway during the draw held on October 8–9, 2025. This round was open to all sectors, reflecting the province’s broad approach to attracting skilled workers who already have employment in New Brunswick. The cut-off date for profiles considered was October 5, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (AST). The province noted that not all applications resulting from this invitation round will be processed within 2025, with some expected to carry over into 2026.
New Brunswick Experience
Through the New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream – Experience Pathway, held between October 6 and 7, 2025, the province issued 91 invitations to candidates with work experience in the healthcare sector. This targeted draw focused on addressing ongoing labour shortages in hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities across the province. As with other rounds, only applications submitted before the October 5, 2025, 11:59 p.m. (AST) cut-off were considered.
New Brunswick Graduates
In a separate draw under the New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream – Graduates Pathway, also conducted on October 6–7, 2025, the province issued 210 invitations to recent graduates from local post-secondary institutions. The draw prioritized occupations in healthcare, education, social and community services, and construction trades, excluding NOC 75101 – Material handlers. The focus on these categories reflects New Brunswick’s commitment to retaining locally educated talent and filling key roles that support the province’s economic growth and community development.
