The Death Certificate
Purpose: For validating the claim of death of the spouse or the common-law partner
Document Requirements:
- The applicant would need to provide this document only if:
- The applicant indicates a marital status of being widowed
- The applicant would need to provide a copy of a death certificate, executorships or any other legal certificates issued by the country, the territory or the region where the death took place
The Individuals who would need to submit this documentation:
- The principal applicant
