The Adoption Certificate

Purpose: For validating claims that the applicant has adopted a dependent child.

Document Requirements:

• The applicant would need to provide this document only if:
• The applicant indicates a dependent child status of ‘adopted’
• The applicant would need to provide a copy of the adoption certificate, the legal adoption papers and / or any other relevant documents issued by the country, the territory or the region where the adoption took place

The Individuals who would need to submit this documentation:

• The dependent children, including non-accompanying dependent children.
