Assessing Against the Selection Criteria
Officers would need to assess applicants against each of the following eligibility requirements. In particular, they would need to scrutinise the information and documents provided in the application against the provisions specified in R87.1. The main eligibility requirements include:
- Temporary resident status
- Official language proficiency
- Qualifying skilled work experience in Canada
- Education requirements (applicable for the post-graduate stream only)

Note:
- To be eligible under this class, applicants would need to have the intention of residing in a province or territory other than Quebec
