1. Contest Overview
Participants are invited to take part in the True North Newsletter Survey Contest. By completing the survey, participants selected by immigration.ca, will be entered into a random draw for a chance to win one of up to ten 1-hour career coaching sessions with a professional career coach at Immigration.ca.
2. Eligibility
Residency: The contest is open to permanent and temporary residents of Canada (permanent residents, study permit, work permit holders), excluding Quebec.
Age: Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Exclusions: Employees, representatives, and agents of Immigration.ca and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and persons living in the same household of such individuals are not eligible to participate.
3. Contest Period
The contest period opens on Wednesday, July 10th and ends on Tuesday, August 6th.
4. How to Enter
Newsletter Subscription: Participants must be subscribed to the True North newsletter.
Survey Completion: Participants must complete the provided survey in its entirety. Only one survey submission per participant is permitted.
Entry Form: Participants must fill out the entry form with complete, truthful and accurate information.
5. Prizes
Number of Prizes: Up to Ten (10) winners will be selected.
Prize Description: Each winner will receive a 1-hour coaching session with a professional career coach at Immigration.ca. Winners, when contacted by email, must promptly comply with career coaching instructions.
6. Prize Value: The approximate retail value of each coaching session is CAD $150
Non-Transferability: Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions or cash equivalents will be provided.
7. Winner Selection
Random Draw: Winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries, as determined by immigration.ca, received during the contest period.
Draw Date: The draw will take place on August 23rd at the offices of Immigration.ca.
Notification: Winners will be notified by email within seven (7) days of the draw. If a winner does not respond by email, within five (5) business days following notification, they forfeit their prize, and another winner will be selected by random draw.
8. Conditions of Participation
Compliance: By entering the contest, participants agree to comply with these rules and regulations and all decisions made by Immigration.ca, are final and binding.
Publicity Release: Winners agree to allow immigration.ca to use their name, photograph, and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
9. Privacy
Participants’ personal information collected through the survey and contest entry will be used solely for the purposes of administering the contest and in accordance with Immigration.ca’s Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
Immigration.ca and its affiliates are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical failures, human error, or any other technical errors or malfunctions in the conduct of the contest.
11. Governing Law
This contest is governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the contest will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
