British Columbia has conducted its first draw since making a series of changes to the streams of the\u00a0 <\/span>British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The March 14 draw saw invitations issued to more than 170 candidates in four different categories.<\/p>\n

Skilled workers and international graduates with a minimum score of 85 points received 123 invitations through the BC PNP Tech stream.<\/p>\n

A further 27 invitations were issued to skilled workers and international graduates scoring at least 85 points in a draw targeting Early Childhood Educators under NOC 4214.<\/p>\n

A draw targeted at Healthcare workers saw 21 invitations issued to skilled workers, international graduates and entry level and semi-skilled workers, also with a minimum score of 85 points.<\/p>\n

The final invitations went to entry level and semi-skilled workers targeted specifically at Healthcare Assistants under NOC 3413, with a minimum score of 63. The number of invitations was listed as \u2018less than 5\u2019 to protect the identity of those who were invited.<\/p>\n
