Johnson.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\" id=\"mcetoc_1fl4alaja1\">New Groups Required To be Vaccinated<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">From January 15, Canada is requiring groups of travellers previously covered by exemptions to be fully vaccinated when entering the country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Those groups are:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s2\"><\/span>Those travelling to reunite with family.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s2\"><\/span>International students aged 18 and older.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s2\"><\/span>Those with a valid work permit, including most temporary foreign workers (not those working in agriculture and food processing).<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s2\"><\/span>Essential service providers, including truck drivers.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s2\"><\/span>Professional and amateur athletes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">After January 15 unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travellers can only enter Canada if they are covered by an exemption.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Exemptions apply to:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s2\"><\/span>New permanent residents.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s2\"><\/span>Agricultural and food processing workers.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s2\"><\/span>Marine crew members.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s2\"><\/span>Those entering on compassionate grounds.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s2\"><\/span>Resettling refugees.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s2\"><\/span>Some children under the age of 18.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Exempt unvaccinated travellers will continue to be subject to testing, quarantine, and other entry requirements.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\" id=\"mcetoc_1fl4al3f30\">Vaccination Required for Travel<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">From November 30, vaccination will be required for travel within and out of Canada.
