Starts 2022 With More Than 1,000 Employer Job Offer Canada Immigration Invitations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>Ontario has started 2022 with 1,084 Canada immigration invitations in three <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/ontario-immigration-launches-expression-of-interest-system\">Expression of Interest<\/a> draws through its Employer Job Offer streams for Foreign Workers, International Students and In-Demand Skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>A draw under each stream was conducted on January 11, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Under the Foreign Worker stream, a general draw saw 264 candidates invited, with a minimum score of 38 points on the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program points grid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>For the International Student stream, a general draw saw 762 invitations issued, with a minimum score of 59.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Under the In-Demand Skills stream, a targeted draw saw 58 invitations issued to candidates scoring 11 points and above with skills and experience in the following health, manufacturing and agricultural occupations:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Health and Agricultural<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NOC 3413 \u2013 nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates.<\/li>\n<li>NOC 4412 \u2013 home support workers and related occupations, excluding housekeepers.<\/li>\n<li>NOC 8431 \u2013 general farm workers.<\/li>\n<li>NOC 8432 \u2013 nursery and greenhouse workers.<\/li>\n<li>NOC 8611 \u2013 harvesting labourers.<\/li>\n<li>NOC 9462 \u2013 industrial butchers and meat cutters, poultry preparers and related workers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Manufacturing (outside\u00a0GTA\u00a0only)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NOC 9411 \u2013 machine operators, mineral and metal processing<\/li>\n<li>NOC 9416 \u2013 metalworking and forging machine operators<\/li>\n<li>NOC 9417 \u2013 machining tool operators<\/li>\n<li>NOC 9418 \u2013 other metal products machine operators<\/li>\n<li>NOC 9421 \u2013 chemical plant machine operators<\/li>\n<li>NOC 9422 \u2013 plastics processing machine operators<\/li>\n<li>NOC 9437 \u2013 woodworking machine operators<\/li>\n<li>NOC 9446 \u2013 industrial sewing machine operators<\/li>\n<li>NOC 9461 \u2013 process control and machine operators, food, beverage and associated products processing<\/li>\n<li>NOC 9523 \u2013 electronics assemblers, fabricators, inspectors and testers<\/li>\n<li>NOC 9526 \u2013 mechanical assemblers and inspectors<\/li>\n<li>NOC 9536 \u2013 industrial painters, coaters and metal finishing process operators<\/li>\n<li>NOC 9537 \u2013 other products assemblers, finishers and inspectors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>To qualify for each draw, candidates needed to have created profiles between April 28, 2021 and January 11, studies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Proficiency in English or French.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Intention to settle outside of the Greater Toronto Area.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Skill and work experience level, earnings history, other factors relevant to prospects in Ontario job market.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Labour market needs in the province or region of the province.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1fp7elstm2\">Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream<\/h3>\n<p><span>To qualify under this stream, applicants must have:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>A permanent and full-time job offer under NOC 0, A or B that meets the median wage levels for Ontario, and in a position that is necessary to the business;<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span>For those already working in the position, the proposed wage must be equal or greater than the current wage being paid<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span>Two cumulative years of relevant work experience in the previous five years before the date of application;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Relevant mandatory licensing in Ontario, if the position so requires;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Live abroad, or be working, studying or visiting Canada on a valid permit;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Intention to settle in Ontario.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1fp7elr771\">Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream<\/h3>\n<p><span>To qualify under this stream, applicants must have:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>A permanent and full-time job offer under NOC 0, A or B that meets low wage levels for Ontario, and in a position that is necessary to the business;<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span>For those already working in the position, the proposed wage must be equal or greater than the current wage being paid<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span>Either<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Graduated or met requirements of a full-time minimum two-year degree from a publicly-funded Canadian college or university; OR<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Graduated or met requirements of a full-time minimum one-year post-graduate diploma program from a publicly-funded Canadian college or university.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span>Completed at least half the studies in Canada;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Apply within two years from the date you completed the above course<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Legal status in Ontario<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Intention to settle in Ontario.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1fp7elpco0\">Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream<\/h3>\n<p>This stream targets candidates with specific skilled in-demand in Ontario. To qualify, applicants must have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A permanent and full-time job offer under certain occupations in the agriculture or construction sector and meets the median wage in Ontario for the occupation (see table below), and in a position that is necessary to the business.\n<ul>\n<li>For those already working in the position, the proposed wage must be equal or greater than the current wage being paid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>9 months of cumulative work experience in the last three years in one of the eligible occupations.
