scholarships worth up to $12,700 for qualifying international students from 21 countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Global Affairs Canada (GAC) provides these Study in Canada Scholarships directly to the college or university for students from:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Bangladesh;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Nepal;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Taiwan;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Turkey;<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Ukraine;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Algeria;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Egypt;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Jordan;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Libya;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Morocco;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Tunisia;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Burkina Faso;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Ethiopia;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Ghana;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Ivory Coast;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Kenya;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Nigeria;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Rwanda;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Senegal;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Tanzania, and;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>Uganda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p 206 NOIs In First French Speaking Skilled Worker Draw Of 2022<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"p1\">The students need to already be registered in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution in an eligible country or territory and be paying tuition fees to that institution at the time of the application and for the full duration of the exchange.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The deadline to apply under the Study in Canada Scholarships program this year is March 22.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The scholarships offered under the program include:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>$10,200 for college, undergraduate or graduate students (master&rsquo;s and PhD) for a minimum of four months or one academic term of study or research, or;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>$12,700 for graduate students (master&rsquo;s and PhD) for a period of five to six months of study or research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">The colleges and universities also get an additional $500 per scholarship recipient to cover administrative costs once he or she arrives in Canada.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\" id=\"mcetoc_1frt0oasm1\">Fifty Recipients of Study in Canada Scholarships Expected in Next Round<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">This student exchange program, which replaces the full-degree Study in Canada Scholarships program piloted in 2020, provides students from colleges and universities in eligible countries and territories with short-term exchange opportunities for study or research in Canada.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Applications for the scholarships are evaluated based on:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>the merit of the research or study to be undertaken in Canada;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>the benefit to the home institution and peers;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>the benefit to the Canadian institution, supervisor and peers;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>the strength of the linkages to be created through the proposed exchange, and;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>rankings submitted by the Canadian institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Colleges and universities can apply for each candidate after <a href=\"https:\/\/w05.international.gc.ca\/Scholarships-Bourses\/register-enregistrer.aspx?lang=eng&amp;_ga=2.6987122.1549988537.1644857419-1900978700.1644857419\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s3\">registering an account<\/span><\/a> and must complete these applications online.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">As part of the application process, colleges and universities need to provide supporting documents, including:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>a proof of citizenship;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>a letter of intent from the candidate;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>a letter of proof of full-time enrolment from the home institution;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>a signed copy of the memorandum of understanding with the partner institution;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>a letter of support from the home institution, and, for graduate students only;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>a letter of invitation from the Canadian supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"p1\" id=\"mcetoc_1frt0o80t0\">Scholarships Cover Study Visa, Airfare, Health Insurance, Books and Living Expenses<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">The money provided under these scholarships can be used for:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>visa or <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/visa-etudiant-canada\"><span class=\"s3\">study permit<\/span><\/a> and work permit fees;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>airfare for the scholarship recipient only via the most direct and economical route;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>health insurance;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>living expenses, such as accommodation, utilities and food;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>ground transportation, including a public transportation pass, and;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span>books and supplies required for the recipient\u2019s study or research, excluding computers and other equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Foreign nationals who have already applied for Canadian <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/how-to-apply-for-canadian-citizenship-online\"><span class=\"s3\">citizenship<\/span><\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/les-avantages-et-obligations-du-statut-de-resident-permanent-du-canada\"><span class=\"s3\">permanent residency<\/span><\/a> \u2013 or are already participating in another federal scholarship program \u2013 are not eligible for the Study in Canada Scholarships.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">International students already enrolled in a degree, diploma or certificate
