{"id":79232,"date":"2020-08-18T12:10:06","date_gmt":"2020-08-18T16:10:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigrationca.staging.wpengine.com\/atlantic-immigration-pilot-candidates-submit-work-permit-applications-online"},"modified":"2022-04-07T10:19:41","modified_gmt":"2022-04-07T14:19:41","slug":"atlantic-immigration-pilot-candidates-submit-work-permit-applications-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/atlantic-immigration-pilot-candidates-submit-work-permit-applications-online\/","title":{"rendered":"Atlantic Immigration Pilot Candidates: Submit Work Permit Applications Online"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Candidates for the <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/atlantic-immigration-pilot\"><span class=\"s1\">Atlantic Immigration Pilot<\/span><\/a> (AIP) can submit Work Permit applications online as of Monday, August 17, as part of the federal government\u2019s coronavirus response.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">A Program Delivery Update was issued Monday confirming the move, with paper applications still accepted until September 1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Atlantic Immigration Pilot operates as a partnership between Canada\u2019s federal government and the four provinces in the region:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/immigration-nouveau-brunswick\"><span class=\"s3\">New Brunswick<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/immigration-terre-neuve\"><span class=\"s3\">Newfoundland<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/nova-scotia-immigration\"><span class=\"s3\">Nova Scotia<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/immigration-ile-du-prince-edouard\"><span class=\"s3\">Prince Edward Island<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">It is an employer-led pilot that aims to bring candidates to the region to fill positions for which Canadian citizens and permanent residents are not available.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Certain candidates can apply for a temporary work permit before sending their permanent resident application. There are also other requirements.
