Working Holiday<\/h3>\n<p><span>The Working Holiday category is for candidates looking to fund a vacation with temporary work in Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span>Candidate Profile<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>You don\u2019t have a job offer.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>You want to work for more than one employer.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>You want to work in more than one location.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>You would like to earn some money so you can travel.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>Working Holiday candidates receive an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/open-work-permit-in-canada\/\">open work permit<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1eakkmppt3\">2. International Co-Op (Internship)<\/h3>\n<p><span>The International Co-Op categories are aimed at candidates looking for overseas work experience int heir field of study.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span>Candidate Profile<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>You are a student registered at a post-secondary institution.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>You have a job offer for a work placement or internship in Canada.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>You need to do this work placement or internship to complete your studies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>You will work for the same employer in the same location during your stay.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>International Co-Op category candidates receive an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/canada-work-visa\">employer-specific work permit<\/a>. Internships must be directly linked to the field of study.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Wages must follow the labour laws in a specific province or territory. The law determines if an internship needs to be paid.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1eakkn7fr4\">3. Young Professionals<\/h3>\n<p><span>The Young Professionals category is for those looking to gain Canadian professional work experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span>Candidate Profile<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>You have a job offer in Canada that contributes to your professional development.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>You will work for the same employer in the same location.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>Under this category, work must be paid and not self-employed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Young Professionals category candidates receive an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/canada-work-visa\">employer-specific work permit<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span>Job Requirements<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>The employer must meet labour laws in the province or territory, including minimum wage.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>The job offer must be classified as National Occupational Classification (NOC) 0, A or B.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>NOC C jobs might be accepted if you can submit a\u00a0post-secondary\u00a0diploma, certificate or degree, with your work permit application.
