Entrepreneur Category?<\/h3>\n<p><span>Business candidates in this <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/british-columbia-immigration\/\">British Columbia immigration<\/a> category must meet the following minimum criteria:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><b>The Eligibility Requirements<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><\/span><span>The personal net worth of minimum $600,000, legally obtained.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Invest minimum $200,000 in an eligible new business or to purchase and improve an existing business in BC.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Create at least one new full-time job in your business for a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Canadian Language Benchmark Level 4 In English or French in each of the four competencies: listening, speaking, reading and writing, BY THE TIME OF NOMINATION.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Suitable business and\/or management experience.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Have, or be eligible for, legal temporary immigration status in Canada.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Have been lawfully admitted to the country where you currently reside.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1ea2fdqmo0\">What Are The Requirements For The B.C. Entrepreneur Immigration \u2013 Regional Pilot Category?<\/h3>\n<p><span><b>Community Requirements<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Population of less than 75,000.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Located beyond 30km from a municipality of more than 75,000 population.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Demonstrated capacity to support foreign entrepreneurs with network of settlement and business support agencies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Immigration and pilot-specific training must be completed by community representatives.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span><b>Candidate Requirements<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Net worth of minimum $300,000.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Minimum of $100,000 in eligible business investments.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Minimum of 51% ownership in the new business.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Canadian Language Benchmark Level 4 In English or French in each of the four competencies: listening, speaking, reading and writing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Create at least one new full-time job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><span>Conduct an exploratory visit in the target community<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>British Columbia immigration has conducted its largest issued Entrepreneur Immigration draw of 2020, issuing invitations to apply to 38 candidates through two streams.
