Marie and Thunder Bay in Ontario, Claresholm in Alberta, Brandon and Altona\/Rhineland in Manitoba, plus Vernon in British Columbia.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1408382 elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"1408382\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f7d633b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f7d633b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1e8s00gtr1\">West Kootenay RNIP Employer Criteria<\/h3>\nTo qualify for the West Kootenay RNIP, the employer must:\n<ol>\n \t<li>Be based in West Kootenay and be eligible to issue genuine job offers.<\/li>\n \t<li>Attest to efforts made to recruit a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident.<\/li>\n \t<li>Have operated in the West Kootenays for a minimum of two years, OR have made a business investment of at least $200,000 in the West Kootenay region.<\/li>\n \t<li>Not be in violation of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada) and\/or provincial employment standards.<\/li>\n \t<li>Not request or accept any form of payment in exchange for providing a job offer.<\/li>\n \t<li>Wage offered in your offer of employment must meet or exceed $22\/hour and must be above or within the range of wages for the occupation. The connection will need to provide written confirmation of their intent to assist the candidate with settling in to the West Kootenay. The connection must be currently living in the West Kootenay. <\/p><p>All connections must live in separate households<\/p><\/td>\n<td valign=\"top\"><b>Points<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\"><p>a.
