{"id":76501,"date":"2020-04-16T13:38:33","date_gmt":"2020-04-16T17:38:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigrationca.staging.wpengine.com\/pei-immigration-urges-candidates-to-continue-to-submit-expressions-of-interest"},"modified":"2020-04-22T15:07:09","modified_gmt":"2020-04-22T19:07:09","slug":"pei-immigration-urges-candidates-to-continue-to-submit-expressions-of-interest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/pei-immigration-urges-candidates-to-continue-to-submit-expressions-of-interest\/","title":{"rendered":"PEI Immigration Urges Candidates to Continue to Submit Expressions of Interest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>Prince Edward Island immigration has encouraged candidates to continue to submit <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/prince-edward-island-immigration-draws\">Expressions of Interest<\/a> despite the coronavirus crisis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In an email, the PEI Office of Immigration said: \u201cWe encourage all potential applicants to create an expression of interest when they meet program criteria as we may perform unscheduled draws in this period of uncertainty.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/prince-edward-island-immigration\">Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program<\/a> (PEI PNP) already indefinitely postponed its March 19 draw due to COVID-19 restrictions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>A further draw was planned for April 16, according to the schedule released at the start of 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>However, with the immigration office closed and staff working remotely, PEI says it is not sure when the next EOI draw will take place.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sDB0CFzBX_s\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span><b>Read More<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/prince-edward-island-immigration-reschedules-march-eoi-draw-due-to-coronavirus\">Prince Edward Island Immigration Reschedules March EOI Draw Due To Coronavirus<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span>The March 19 draw would have been the third of 2020 through PEI Expression of Interest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>PEI PNP draws feature invites for the province\u2019s immigration streams for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/express-entry-immigration-2018\/\">Express Entry<\/a>, Labour Impact and Business Impact candidates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In two draws so far in 2020, 276 invites have been issued through the PEI PNP.
