2020-04-08 – British Columbia immigration issued invitations to apply to 18 candidates in a new Entrepreneur Immigration<\/a> draw.<\/span><\/p>\n

The April 6 British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program<\/a> draw featured invites through the Regional Pilot category. Candidates required a minimum score of 107 points.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Regional Pilot category is designed to bring entrepreneurs and investment to smaller British Columbia communities.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What Are The Requirements For The B.C. Entrepreneur Immigration \u2013 Regional Pilot Category?<\/h3>\n

Community Requirements<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • <\/span>Population of less than 75,000.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • <\/span>Located beyond 30km from a municipality of more than 75,000 population.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • <\/span>Demonstrated capacity to support foreign entrepreneurs with network of settlement and business support agencies.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • <\/span>Immigration and pilot-specific training must be completed by community representatives.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Candidate Requirements<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • <\/span>Net worth of minimum $300,000.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • <\/span>Minimum of $100,000 in eligible business investments.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • <\/span>Minimum of 51% ownership in the new business.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • <\/span>Canadian Language Benchmark Level 4 In English or French in each of the four competencies: listening, speaking, reading and writing.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • <\/span>Create at least one new full-time job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • <\/span>Conduct an exploratory visit in the target community<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
