Ontario\u2019s nomination total.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1e49l7cqr4\">Most Popular 2019 Ontario Immigration Tech Occupations<\/h3>\n<p><span>Ontario launch Tech Draws through the Human Capital Priorities stream in 2019, with a resultant slew of nominations going to candidates with IT experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The province reports a third of all nominations went to candidates work media developers received 598 nominations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>These number are expected to grow again in 2020, with Tech Draws an established part of the OINP landscape.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><b>Francophone Immigration<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Francophone candidates made up 6.1 per cent of Ontario\u2019s total nominations in 2019, beating the province\u2019s 5 per cent target.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>With Quebec reducing numbers of skilled immigrants, francophones can currently find better opportunities for immigration outside the French-speaking province.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The OINP welcomed most francophones through the <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/ontario-immigrant-nominee-program-express-entry-streams\">French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream<\/a> and the Human Capital Priorities Stream.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><b>Entrepreneur Immigration<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>While a grand total of zero <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/ontario-entrepreneur-stream-oes-ontario-nominee-program\">Entrepreneur Stream<\/a> nominations were issued by Ontario in 2019, the province reported that 7 candidates are in the final stages of the process, meaning they are already in Ontario on a work permit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThese 7 Entrepreneur Stream candidates are anticipated to invest over $30 million and hire 136 Ontarians as a result of establishing their businesses in Ontario,\u201d the province said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><b>Source Countries For 2019 Ontario Immigration<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Correlating with national figures, the majority of Ontario nominations went to Indian citizens in 2019.
