However, <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/coronavirus-canada-says-tfws-international-students-approved-permanent-residents-can-travel\">the federal government has announced a number of exemptions<\/a> to the ban on people entering Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Candidates who have submitted permanent residence applications should \u201cwait until there is communication on alternative ways to land in Canada,\u201d the statement said. Biometrics submission for applicants is currently suspended until April 13.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1e443evr52\">Contact and Information Sessions<\/h3>\n<p><span>The Office of Immigration has an <a href=\"mailto:immigration@gov.nl.ca\">email service<\/a> for candidates directly impacted by coronavirus-related issues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Information sessions with international students and graduates, plus public and employers are currently suspended.
