2020-01-25 – Alberta immigration targeted Express Entry<\/a> candidates with scores as low as 350 in the first draw of 2020 through the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The January 9 draw saw 150 candidates receive Notification of Interest letters for the Alberta Express Entry<\/a> stream.<\/p>\n

Important requirements for the Alberta Express Entry<\/a> stream are that candidates have stated an interest in immigrating permanently to the province, and are working in an occupation that supports Alberta\u2019s economic development and diversification.<\/p>\n

Alberta is yet to receive its federal government nomination allocation for 2020. It currently has 2,175 applications awaiting assessment for eligibility.<\/p>\n

Alberta conducted 31 draws tapping the federal Express Entry pool during 2019, issuing 7,034 Notification of Interest Letters.<\/p>\n

The province reached its federal government allocation of 6,000 nominations in December.<\/p>\n
