Entrepreneur Category?<\/h3>\n<p>Business candidates in this <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/british-columbia-immigration\/\">British Columbia immigration<\/a> category must meet the following minimum criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate a personal net worth of at least $800,000;<\/li>\n<li>Make a personal investment of at least $400 000 to establish or purchase and expand an eligible business in B.C.;<\/li>\n<li>Create at least three jobs for Canadian citizens or permanent residents;<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the day-to-day management and direction or the business;<\/li>\n<li>Sign a performance agreement with B.C. prior to nomination;<\/li>\n<li>Candidates in the Entrepreneur category can sponsor a key staff member for Canadian permanent residence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>What Are The Requirements For The B.C. Entrepreneur Immigration \u2013 Regional Pilot Category?<\/h3>\n<p><b>Community Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Population of less than 75,000.<\/li>\n<li>Located beyond 30km from a municipality of more than 75,000 population.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated capacity to support foreign entrepreneurs with network of settlement and business support agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Immigration and pilot-specific training must be completed by community representatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Candidate Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Desire to start a business and settle in a B.C. regional community.<\/li>\n<li>Complete an exploratory visit.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of $100,000 in eligible business investments.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum personal net worth of $300,000.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 51 per cent ownership.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of one new job created.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2019-10-12 &#8211; British Columbia immigration has conducted a new draw targeting the Entrepreneur Immigration Regional Pilot.
