2019-10-04 – British Columbia immigration invited 402 candidates in the latest draw through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The October 1 draw feature invitations across five BC PNP streams.<\/p>\n

The direct provincial skilled worker stream saw a minimum score of 92 points, compared to 97 for the Express Entry skilled worker stream.<\/p>\n

For international graduates, the direct provincial stream saw a minimum score of 97 points, compared to 101 points for the Express Entry international graduate stream.<\/p>\n

The entry-level and semi-skilled stream registered a minimum score of 78 points.<\/p>\n

The previous\u00a0British Columbia immigration<\/a> draw focused on the 29 target occupations through the BC PNP Tech Pilot<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The September 24 draw saw 65 invitations issued across four British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program<\/a> streams.<\/p>\n

Minimum scores were 90 for all of the featured streams:<\/p>\n

    The\u00a0BC PNP Tech Pilot<\/a>\u00a0has been extended into 2020 after its initial launch in 2017. It currently has a list of 29 target occupations with relaxed duration requirements.<\/p>\n

    BC PNP draws aimed specifically at technology workers started in May 2017. The province has a thriving technology industry with some big names of the tech world basing themselves in Canada\u2019s westernmost province.<\/p>\n
