{"id":70396,"date":"2019-06-26T15:54:22","date_gmt":"2019-06-26T15:54:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigrationca.staging.wpengine.com\/minimum-crs-drops-again-as-canada-passes-40000-express-entry-itas-for-2019"},"modified":"2019-06-26T15:54:22","modified_gmt":"2019-06-26T15:54:22","slug":"minimum-crs-drops-again-as-canada-passes-40000-express-entry-itas-for-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/minimum-crs-drops-again-as-canada-passes-40000-express-entry-itas-for-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Minimum CRS Drops Again As Canada Passes 40,000 Express Entry ITAs for 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Jun 26, 2019 &#8211; The <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/express-entry-immigration-2018\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Canada Express Entry<\/span><\/a> minimum <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/comprehensive-ranking-system-crs\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Comprehensive Ranking System<\/span><\/a> (CRS) score dropped for the second draw running as immigration authorities conducted a new round of invitations on June 26, 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Candidates needed to score 462 points or higher to receive one of 3,350 <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/invitations-apply-permanent-residence-itas\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Invitations to Apply<\/span><\/a> (ITAs) issued via the skilled worker immigration system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The score was three points down on the previous draw, meaning the minimum score has now dropped eight points in the last four weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Canada has now issued 41,800 ITAs in 2019, against a high-skilled immigration target of 81,400.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">IRCC broke the record for annual Express Entry ITAs in 2018 with 89,800.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The draw saw the tie-breaking rule implemented on May 11, 2019 at 1.40pm EST. If more than one candidate had the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This was the 13th round of invitations under\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/express-entry-immigration-2018\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Express Entry<\/span><\/a>\u00a0in 2019 and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/express-entry-immigration-draws\/\"><span class=\"s2\">120<\/span><span class=\"s3\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s2\">\u00a0overall<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">What is Express Entry?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Express Entry is an immigration system implemented by Canadian immigration authorities (IRCC) on January 1, 2015 which manages skilled worker applications under Federal Economic programs.
