class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>February 4, 2019 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/manitoba-immigration\/\">Manitoba immigration<\/a> continued its fast start to 2019 with a second draw that saw the province pass 1,000 Letters of Advice to Apply in the first month.<\/p>\n\n<p>The January 31 draw saw 456 candidates issued LAAs across three provincial streams.<\/p>\n\n<p>Like the previous draw, the largest number of invites were issued through the Human Capital Pathway of the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, with 299 LAAs and a lowest score of 572.<\/p>\n\n<p>These candidates had to meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n<p><b>Either<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n \t<li>Have a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code, with at least six months of recent experience in an occupation on Manitoba\u2019s In-demand Occupations list<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<b>Or<\/b>\n<ul>\n \t<li>Have a close relative in Manitoba or past education or work experience in the province.<\/li>\n \t<li>Have 6 months of recent experience in a Manitoba in-demand occupation.<\/li>\n \t<li>Meet minimum language requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThere were also 124 candidates issued LAAs through the Skilled Workers In Manitoba stream, for which the lowest ranked candidate scored 575 points.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div requirements,<\/p>\n\n<p>Also under the SWO stream, 16 candidates were invited through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, with a lowest score of 705 points.<\/p>\n\n<p>An SRI is when candidates are SWM selects foreign-trained workers with the required skills and nominates them for Canada permanent residence. The stream prioritizes candidates with a strong attachment to Manitoba, with two pathways to Manitoba immigration.\n\n<b>a) Manitoba Work Experience Pathway<\/b>\n\nFor applicants currently working in Manitoba on temporary work permits, through the Temporary Foreign Worker Program or as international graduates from any province. Under IES, candidates are no longer required to work for six months in their field before applying for an MPNP nomination.
