international students who possess the education, work experience and skills required to successfully establish themselves in the province of Ontario.<\/p>\n<p>Under this category, OINP operates two international students-related streams: the Masters graduates and the PhD graduates.<\/p>\n<p>In order to be considered under one of these streams, interested candidates must have studied in Ontario, under eligible programs.<\/p>\n<p>Job offers from Ontario employers are not required for these streams.<\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility requirements<\/h3>\n<p><b>Masters Graduates Stream<\/b><\/p>\n<p>This stream offers an opportunity to obtain permanent residence to international students who obtained a masters degree in Ontario without requiring a job offer.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible to apply, a candidate must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduated from a Master\u2019s degree program from an <a href=\"#1\">eligible institution<\/a> in Ontario, that was at least one-year full-time.<\/li>\n<li>Obtained minimum language <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/canada-immigration-language-tests-converter\/\">CLB\/NCLC<\/a> level 7 or above in English or in French.<\/li>\n<li>Resided legally in Ontario for at least one year in the last two.<\/li>\n<li>Have sufficient settlement funds.<\/li>\n<li>Intend to live and work in Ontario.<\/li>\n<li>Must have legal status in Ontario or abroad.\n<ul>\n<li>Applications from elsewhere in Canada will not be accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Application must be submitted within two years of completing the requirements to graduate from the master\u2019s degree.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a name=\"1\"><\/a><b>PhD Graduates Stream<\/b><br \/>\nThis stream offers international students an opportunity to become a permanent resident for who hold a PhD degree from Ontario without requiring a job offer.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible to apply, a candidate must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduated from a PhD degree program in an <a href=\"#2\">eligible institution<\/a> in Ontario, and have completed at least two-years full-time.<\/li>\n<li>Resided legally in Ontario for at least one year in the last two.<\/li>\n<li>Have sufficient settlement funds.<\/li>\n<li>Intend to live and work in Ontario.<\/li>\n<li>Application must be submitted within two years of completing the requirements to graduate from the PhD degree.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Application process<\/h3>\n<p><a name=\"2\"><\/a>These streams are expected to open and close throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates who meet the requirements must complete an application online under Ontario\u2019s own OINP e-Filing Portal and submit all relevant forms and supporting documentation.<\/p>\n<p>A $1500 processing fee is charged for applications submitted under these streams.<\/p>\n<p>If the application is approved, the candidate will receive a Letter of Nomination and must apply for permanent residence with IRCC within the
