For this, they would need to take a language test approved by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). They would need to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Schedule a language test approved by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and pay the relevant fees<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Compare their test results to the charts given subsequently to see what Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level they have achieved and,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Include the original test results at the time they apply in case they meet the minimum level of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 (the officers will not accept any photocopies submitted)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Applicants would need to ensure that their test results are less than two years old at the time when Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) receives their applications<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The authorities would not consider applications for the next step in case applicants do not include the original test results<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">It is worth highlighting that applicants should not ask the organisation that produces the results to send the language test results directly to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) would be checking all language test results submitted with applications with the organisation that produced the results<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Read more<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/inc\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Language-Benchmarks.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Language Ability In Canada Immigration Applications<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>The Approved Language Tests<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Applicants can take any of the following approved language tests.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>English \u2013 The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) has three tests.
