May 31, 2017 \u2013 Canadian Immigration authorities conducted the 15th<\/sup>\u00a0round of invitations under Express Entry in 2017 and\u00a065th<\/sup>\u00a0overall<\/a>, inviting 3,877 applicants for permanent residence, under all programs. The lowest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was 413, the lowest-ever for an all-program draw.<\/p>\n

\"CanadaIt was the 13th<\/sup>\u00a0all-program draw in 2017 under the\u00a0Express Entry System<\/a>\u00a0where the lowest CRS score was well below 500. It was the 18th<\/sup>\u00a0draw since immigration authorities substantially modified the Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System in\u00a0November 2016<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Express Entry is an immigration system implemented by Canadian immigration authorities (IRCC) on January 1, 2015 which manages skilled worker applications under Federal Economic programs. This includes the\u00a0Federal Skilled Worker Program<\/a>, the\u00a0Skilled Trades Program<\/a>\u00a0the\u00a0Canada Experience Class<\/a>\u00a0and certain parts of the\u00a0Provincial Nominee Programs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Stakeholders expect to see more than 15 draws and up to 50,000 invitations during the first six months of 2017, with CRS scores well below\u00a0450\u00a0to enable Canadian immigration authorities to meet targeted annual immigration levels for 2017.<\/p>\n
