It also suspends the US refugee program for 120 days.<\/p>\n<p>The US Justice Department is understood to be taking the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/faq-donald-trumps-u-s-immigration-ban-executive-order\/\">Trump immigration ban<\/a>\u00a0case to the US 9<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Circuit Court of Appeals, although there is no timeline on when that will happen.<\/p>\n<p>In his original ruling, Judge Watson described the Trump administration\u2019s arguments as illogical, and said there was \u201csignificant and unrebutted evidence of religious animus\u201d contained in the executive order.<\/p>\n<p>Trump fired back, saying the ruling was \u201cunprecedented judicial overreach\u201d during a rally in Nashville.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re going to win. We\u2019re going to keep our citizens safe,\u201d the president said. \u201cThe danger is clear. The law is clear.
