Candidates need to act fast as Notifications of Interest (NOIs) are being issued by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program<\/a> from April 10-14, 2017.<\/p>\nThe province is looking for:<\/p>\n

- Carpenters<\/li>\n
- Electricians (except industrial and power system)<\/li>\n
- Construction millwrights and industrial mechanics<\/li>\n
- Welders<\/li>\n
- Painters and decorators (except interior decorators)<\/li>\n
- Plumbers<\/li>\n
- Bricklayers<\/li>\n
- Roofers and shinglers<\/li>\n
- Sheet metal workers<\/li>\n
- Tilesetters<\/li>\n
- Boilermakers<\/li>\n
- Plasterers, drywall installers and finishers and lathers<\/li>\n
- Industrial electricians<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The key Canada construction job<\/a> trades are being sought under the OINP<\/a> Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream<\/p>\n
To qualify, candidates must create a profile under the Canada Express Entry<\/a> system and score at least 400 Comprehensive Ranking System<\/a> points.<\/p>\n
Other conditions under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program include experience, education, language ability and plan to live in the province.<\/p>\n
\nOntario Immigrant Nominee Program: Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream<\/h3>\n
To qualify applicants must have:<\/p>\n
- \n
- Pending application under the Federal Express Entry system;<\/li>\n
- Minimum of 1-year of full time, or full time equivalent work experience under NOC occupation\u00a0level 0, A or B;<\/li>\n
- Canadian equivalent Bachelors degree, Masters degree or PhD;<\/li>\n
- Minimum CLB level 7 in IELTS general exam;<\/li>\n
- Intention to reside in the Province of Ontario;<\/li>\n
- Minimum of 400 points under the Federal Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\nDo not panic if you miss this round of NOIs as Ontario immigration<\/a> officials plan further rounds throughout 2017.<\/p>\n
An NOI is valid for six months from the date it is issued. This means candidates have six months to register a profile on the OINP e-Filing Portal.<\/p>\n
However, once that profile is registered, the completed application must be submitted in 14 calendar days.<\/p>\n
