Canada Immigration Lawyer Colin Singer discusses the best Canada jobs to qualify for immigration to Canada, through Express Entry<\/a> under the Federal Skilled Worker Program<\/a> in the latest immigration.ca livestream video.<\/p>\n

Only experience in certain jobs in Canada qualify for immigration to Canada under the Canada Express Entry<\/a>, system namely those with National Occupation Classification O, A and B.<\/p>\n

Broadly speaking, jobs classified as \u2018O\u2019 are mid to senior-level managerial positions, those classified as \u2018A\u2019 require a university degree, while those coming under \u2018B\u2019 are Canada jobs requiring diplomas or apprenticeships.<\/p>\n

Canada Immigration Lawyer Colin Singer<\/a> discusses that, to qualify, candidates must have a year of full time paid experience within the last decade in one of the required Canada jobs.<\/p>\n

This means the experience must be formal and paid, and that voluntary work does not count towards an immigration application.<\/p>\n

Immigration Attorney Colin Singer also reviews recent trends under Canada Express Entry, with lower Comprehensive Ranking System scores<\/a> and more Invitations to Apply for Canada immigration being witnessed.<\/p>\n

There have been three Express Entry draws since February 8, 2017, with declining CRS scores of 447, 441 and 434 over that time.<\/p>\n

In total, those three draws have seen 10,609 ITAs issued, as the federal government aims to ensure that enough invites are issued early in the year to meet immigration numbers targets for 2017.<\/p>\n

As the processing target is six months from the date an ITA is issued, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is giving itself plenty of time to make up the numbers.<\/p>\n

There is also the \u2018drop off factor\u2019 to take into consideration. Not all candidates issued with an ITA submit their applications on time. The window was increased from 60 to 90 days under recent changes to the Express Entry system<\/a> and while this should limit the number who \u2018drop off\u2019, it will also lengthen processing times.<\/p>\n
