{"id":14584,"date":"2016-12-02T09:58:03","date_gmt":"2016-12-02T09:58:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigrationca.staging.wpengine.com\/fr\/2016-express-entry-draw-25-559-invitations-lowest-crs-score-786\/"},"modified":"2017-02-12T18:39:44","modified_gmt":"2017-02-12T18:39:44","slug":"2016-express-entry-draw-25-559-invitations-lowest-crs-score-786","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/2016-express-entry-draw-25-559-invitations-lowest-crs-score-786\/","title":{"rendered":"2016 Express Entry Draw #25: 559 Invitations, Lowest CRS Score 786 (Audio)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mobileAudio\">\n<strong>Article Audio<\/strong><br \/>\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-14584-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/images\/audio\/files\/EE_Draw_25.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/images\/audio\/files\/EE_Draw_25.mp3\">https:\/\/immigration.ca\/images\/audio\/files\/EE_Draw_25.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<\/div>\n<p>November 30<sup>th<\/sup> 2016 &#8211; Canadian Immigration authorities conducted the 25<sup>th<\/sup> round of invitations under Express Entry in 2016 and 48<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0overall, inviting 559 applicants for permanent residence from the <strong><em>provincial nominee class only<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 The lowest comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was 786.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"img8454\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"2016 Express Entry Draw #25: 559 Invitations, Lowest CRS Score 786\" src=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/images\/Electronic-Travel-Authorization.png\" alt=\"November 30th 2016 - Canadian Immigration authorities conducted the 25th round of invitations under Express Entry in 2016 and 48th\u00a0\" width=\"445\" height=\"156\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It was the first draw since immigration authorities substantially <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/express-entry-breaking-news-canada-eases-pathway-permanent-residence-foreign-workers-international-students\/\">modified the express entry comprehensive ranking system.<\/a> <span class=\"s1\">However, it was the first time this year there were no candidates selected under any federal programs, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/skilled-worker-immigration-overview\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Federal Skilled Worker<\/span><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/the-canada-experience-class-2\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Canadian Experience Class<\/span><\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/federal-skilled-trades-program\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Skilled Trades<\/span><\/a>. <\/span>Candidates under these programs must await future draws in order to ascertain the effects of the recent modifications which now awards points for Canadian education and work permit holders without requirement for a labour market impact assessment (LMIA).<\/p>\n<p>Express Entry is an immigration system implemented by Canadian immigration authorities (\u00ab\u00a0CIC\u00a0\u00bb) on January 1, 2015 which manages skilled worker applications under Federal Economic programs.
