Canada has issued 5,900 Invitations to Apply<\/a> (ITAs) to those working in STEM occupations in a new Express Entry<\/a> draw.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The December 8 targeted draw saw a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 481 points \u2013 five points lower than the draw targeting STEM workers before that.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

IRCC\u2019s previous draw \u2013 a round of invitations targeting French speakers \u2013 took place just a day prior, on December 7, issuing 1,000 invitations with a minimum score of 470 points.<\/p>\n

The December 8 round was third in a series of consecutive EE draws held this week, following more than a month of no draws.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The last draw targeting STEM workers was held on July 5, one in which 500 ITAs were issued, and which witnessed the lowest CRS Score of 486. It was the first round of invitations for STEM workers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
